Whitney Shaw brings her keen eye for aesthetics and artistic values to her hair styling. She is inspired by the personality of her clients, and works collaboratively to develope looks that compliment individual style and enhance natural hair textures. Whitney's approach combines deep understanding of hair types - including CURLS - with a broad knowledge of techniques and hair styles that are effortless to maintain and have an easy grow-out.

A Bay Area native, Whitney was raised in a multi-generational house full of artists and musicians, and has maintained a visual art practice alongside her hair styling craft. In her free time she is often sailing in Tamales Bay with her woodworker husband in the small boat they built by hand. She has a knack for the satirical, whimsical, and simple in her visual art drawing practice, which some day might be added to this site. You may also find her from time to time spinning her vintage country records at a honky-tonk.
